Gestures and gazes, fragments of existence charged with emotion

I chose to join DF Art Project for its collective and committed vision of art, grounded in dialogue, research, and creative freedom. DF’s approach to the deconstruction of the figure resonates deeply with my own work, which explores the human being in all its tensions and complexity.

In my practice, I never seek to describe the figure in its entirety or to define all of its contours. My work is instead rooted in a process of withdrawal, of partial erasure, allowing only the essential to emerge. This deliberate deconstruction opens up a space for projection, where each viewer can invest the work with their own sensibility.

The face and the hand are central to my work. They are universal forms, carrying identity, memory, protection, and our relationship to others. Gestures and gazes thus become fragments of existence charged with emotion.

I hope the public will approach my work in an intuitive and personal way. There is no imposed interpretation: each person is invited to project their own experience into the work and to enter into a sensitive dialogue with it.

I am currently pursuing several exhibition projects, in France and internationally, both solo and group shows. I will soon be presenting at ART CAPITAL in two distinct spaces: IN SITU and the Salon des Artistes Français. My work continues to explore the human figure as a vehicle for emotion, with particular attention given to what is felt rather than what is shown
