The depths of the human soul.

“My work is situated on the border between the real and the imaginary. It is directly connected to my vision of the world, and the way I interpret it. Using reality as a point of departure – a reality which affects me with the questions, fears and hopes that inspire my perception of what it is to be human, I propose, through dark poetry, a phantasmagorical trip to the depths of the human soul.
My medium is waste, the symbol of our hyper-consumerist society that questions its very foundations.
But beyond societal concerns, I seek to remould, reinvent and give shine to an object that has been rejected, echoing my own past, putting my sensitivity into action, along with my vision of a chaotic world and my utopian ideals.
I use all sorts of materials that are defective, broken, unusable, often non-recyclable and destined for the scrapheap. I create a paradox of closeness by reinterpreting familiar objects, yet also of remoteness by opening the gates of a surrealist realm.
I am a self-taught artist, and my participation in the DF Art Project has brought me a richness that is simultaneously personal and artistic, a true source of nourishment. This is where I discovered artists I share a common language with, where I fostered ties and appreciated the support they bought to my work and how they addressed my doubts. This is unquestionably a space that fosters connexions, surely a space for future collaborations and collective projects.”
